Searching information on the phrase "Incorrect image file path" is not giving me any information on what this could mean or how to fix it, so I'm at the end of my road and asking for help. and I do think it's an issue with Lazesoft because the other scammish company I had downloaded previously burned a CD just fine, which worked on the locked computer. So it looks like this locked computer will only boot up using a CD.
I tried all the usb slots on the computer. I went into the bios and changed the boot priority to the usb. However, the locked computer refuses to boot up from the flash drive. Lazesoft was able to burn to the flash drive just fine. I went to the store and bought a flash drive, since I didn't have one. When I went to go try to burn a CD, a window entitled "Bootable Media Builder" keeps popping up saying saying "Incorrect image file path". I downloaded it to this other available computer. I did some forum search and learned about lazesoft. It was at this point that I remembered bleepingcomputer. Like what would even be the purpose of just showing the logins and that's it? But I won't reward this particular company for this strategy. If I have to pay for a different program, fine. I made it my determination not to pay them. I may have been willing to pay for the program if they had have made the costs apparent from the beginning, instead of mascarading as freeware when it was not. I am all for supporting programmers and paying for a well designed program that I need, but I can not STAND when they use shady tactics such as this.

When I did that and restarted, it switched off of the pin code and back to the password at the login, which no one knows. I went to get some malware off of this computer that my kids had downloaded, and I went to go into safe mode using msconfig. (This is a local account on the computer, it is not associated with any microsoft online account) He did know the pin code, though, so we had been relying on that. I usually keep up with them for him, but he changed the one on my children's homeschool computer to something that he forgot before I could even get it from him.
